What Is a PWA and Why Should Your Business Have One Instead of a Mobile App?

A native app would have cost more and required alumni to download it — reducing adoption.

When Does a Native App Make Sense?

Native apps are worth the investment when you need:

• Complex device hardware access (camera, GPS at deep level)
• App Store discoverability as a growth channel
• Very high-performance graphics (games)

For most Indian business use cases — communities, directories, dashboards, booking systems, portals — a PWA does the job at 20–30% of the cost.
